Time to get the warm clothes on and make a snowman!…

…
Having fun Rosebud?…

…
Trace thinks Jonny’s trousers are funny. Jonny thinks they’re drafty…

…
That snow doesn’t stick very well, but I think we all agree that this is the world’s greatest snowman…

…must have four inches we reckon…

Thursday 17th December 2009, and it’s blowing down out there…

…

…

…and the snow’s thawed. Considering, when we went to bed, it was like this…

…
…this is what we woke up to…

…
Jonny took the M5 to work, very gingerly…

…
…and parked a long way from any trouble!…

Started off a bit frosty this morning…

…
Come this evening though, we’ve got some snow. This has been falling since 4pm; photo taken at 7.15pm…

…
7.15pm, the front garden…

…
Collecting on the letterbox…

…
7.30pm and Trace returns from jazzercise. Very slippery out apparently…

…
8.41pm, and it’s still falling. Maybe the snowman will be saved…

…
8.43pm and there’s bit more out the back

There’s more here if you want to see, including snaps of the situation at 10pm…

Jonny walked up to Royston Heath for a game of squash with Richard this morning…very icy out…

…
…and here’s Ranulph Fiennes, disguised as a squash-playing Richard Lowden. At least look at the camera Richard…

…
This is Royston Heath with it’s great slopes and ‘radical powder’ as they say round these parts…

…
honestly you’d get it confused with St. Moritz, Chamonix or Whistler wouldn’t you…

…
…and this is the ‘north run’ on the Heath…

…
On the way back Richard and Jonny popped into Somerfield, where Richard bought some chocolate cookies. He sent one on to baby Aimee, and here she is saying thank you!…
